Connect your own assistant
How to connect your own assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or Grok) to your business on VELTRO, what it can do there and how to disconnect it. The rule: the assistant prepares, you approve in the app.
Connector URL — https://g8car-api-611594050176.europe-west3.run.app/mcp
What it can do
- Bookings — See the day's or week's bookings, prepare confirming or declining a new booking, or a new time for a confirmed one (the customer accepts the new time).
- Free time — Which start times are free and how many bays, and prepare blocking time: a break, closed hours.
- Stock — Part quantities per warehouse, search by name, brand or article number, and prepare stock changes: sold, received, damaged, returned, counted.
- Requests — See customers' open requests.
What it can't do
It can't change anything by itself: every change is a draft until someone at the business approves it in the app. It cannot see or change prices, your team, payments, invoices or anything about money. It never sees a customer's phone number or e-mail: a booking shows only the customer's name, the car and the note. One draft covers one booking or one part, never many at once.
Safety
- The assistant prepares, you approve in the app — Every change the assistant makes is a draft. It appears in the VELTRO app under More → Connected assistants → Changes to approve, and a notification opens it. Nothing changes until someone at the business approves it.
- Approved once, checked again — A draft runs once, as the person who approves it, with that person's role checked again. If the booking changed after the draft, nothing happens. A draft nobody answers lapses after 24 hours. The assistant can see how it ended.
- Only your role's permissions — The assistant acts as you and can do only what your role in the team allows. When you connect, you tick what it may do.
- Disconnect any time — More → Connected assistants shows what is connected, when it was last used and how many actions it ran. Disconnecting ends its access at once.
- The owner sees everything — The business owner sees every team member's connections and can end any of them.
- Every connection on its own — Each connection is its own session. Every action is logged, and one connection can run at most 30 actions a minute.
